How to understand the condition of our products?

BabyOutlet.ee products come from the stock leftovers, customer returns, store samples, and discount campaigns of major European baby stores. As these are outlet goods, there may be damaged packaging or minor cosmetic flaws. To help you make an informed and safe purchase, we thoroughly assess each product based on four criteria:

  • Product appearance
  • Functionality
  • Completeness (whether all necessary parts and accessories are included)
  • Condition of packaging

Each product receives a rating and is then assigned to one of four condition categories: New, Store Sample, Lightly Used, or Used. All products for sale have been checked and are in working order.

Below we explain each condition category in more detail:

🟢 New – Completely new product

The product is new and unused. Perfect as a gift. If the product card does not specify the condition, please assume it is a new product.

  • Appearance: Completely new, no signs of use.
  • Completeness: Complete – all original accessories and parts included.
  • Packaging: May be damaged or opened, but the product inside is intact and new.
  • Functionality: Checked, works flawlessly.
  • Origin: Warehouse leftovers, unused customer returns.
  • Why choose? You get a completely new product at an outlet price. The ideal solution if you want quality at a good price.

🟡 Store Sample – Essentially new product

The product has been used as a display in a baby or children's store or used only briefly. In very good condition. The product card states the condition as "Store Sample".

  • Appearance: In very good condition, may have minimal signs of use that are generally unnoticeable in regular use.
  • Completeness: Complete or almost complete, minor accessories may be missing – this information is noted on the product card.
  • Packaging: Often lacks original packaging or it has been replaced. Packaging may be damaged and opened.
  • Functionality: Fully functional, checked.
  • Origin: Store display or returned after short-term trial (generally up to 14-day returns).
  • Why choose? A great opportunity to get a quality product at a good price that looks like new.

🟠 Lightly Used – Checked and reliable

The product has been used for a short time but thoroughly checked. In good condition. The product card states the condition as "Lightly Used".

  • Appearance: Visible but light signs of use (e.g., scratches, labels on products, protective films removed).
  • Completeness: Usually complete, but some non-essential accessory may be missing (e.g., extra clip or manual).
  • Packaging: Usually lacks original packaging or it has been replaced. If packaging is present, it may be damaged and opened.
  • Functionality: Fully operational, partially tested.
  • Origin: Customer returns, short-term used products.
  • Why choose? A reliable and economical choice if appearance is not a priority but functionality and price are important.

🔴 Used – Noticeable signs of use, lowest price

The product has been used, but works properly. Defects are described. The product card states the condition as "Used".

  • Appearance: Visible signs of use – for example, scratches, wear marks, or fading.
  • Completeness: Some accessory or part may be missing, necessary details are listed on the product card.
  • Packaging: Missing or replaced with alternative packaging.
  • Functionality: Works, checked; minor faults or cosmetic defects do not affect use.
  • Origin: Longer-term use, previously owned by a consumer.
  • Why choose? Very affordable price – ideal as a backup or for situations where appearance is not important.

BabyOutlet.ee is committed to sustainable consumption. All products are carefully packed, but whenever possible we use recycled packaging, including used boxes and packing film. This helps reduce the ecological footprint while ensuring safe transport of the product. No matter how worn the packaging material may look – the product inside is always checked and of high quality.

Important purchase terms to keep in mind

BabyOutlet.ee operates on the principles of honesty and transparency. As these are outlet goods, we highlight some important purchase terms to help you make an informed decision:

  • Products do not come with a warranty.
    All online store purchases are subject to 14-day right of withdrawal and 2-year right to file complaints, according to consumer protection law.
  • The condition of each product is clearly stated.
    Our selection includes new, store samples, lightly used, or used. The condition description is provided with each product (except if the information is missing, then the product is new). By placing an order, you confirm that you have reviewed and agree with the product's condition.
  • Products do not have an Estonian-language manual.
    As these are goods being given a new life (e.g., customer returns, samples, stock leftovers), some products may lack the original manual or it may not be in Estonian.
  • Product descriptions are based on manufacturer data.
    We provide information according to the manufacturer or importer. BabyOutlet.ee cannot be held responsible for the complete accuracy of manufacturer descriptions, but we always strive to offer reliable and relevant information.
